Full-time Sales and Leasing Consultant

Job Responsibilities

  • Attend sales meetings and floor duty as per assigned shifts
  • Reports to new vehicles Sales Manager regarding goals and objectives
  • Prepare and formulate offers to purchase for management approval as well as process necessary documentation for review
  • Retain gross profits while achieving monthly volume targets
  • Remain current on the automotive business, culture, and product knowledge and understands automotive terminology
  • Keeping up to date of incoming inventory, features, and accessories
  • Check vehicles for quality standards prior to delivery
  • Demonstrate new vehicles and test drives
  • Explaining functions, warranty and maintenance to the customer upon delivery
  • Follow up with customers within 24hrs of delivery to ensure CSI (Initial Satisfaction Survey) is favourable
  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service and build customer relationships
  • Promotes a positive professional impression of retail operations

Skills and Qualifications

  •  Prior sales experience is a must
  • Excellent closing techniques and skills
  • Must have a valid local driver’s license
  • Ability to sell a minimum quota according to dealership standards
  • Attention to detail
  • Automotive knowledge is an asset

Senior Accounting Clerk

BMW Grand River is looking for a new Accounting Clerk. BMW/MINI Grand River is seeking an individual that is tactful, resourceful, and a self-starter. The ideal candidate will have experience with Reynolds & Reynolds, be detail-oriented and have an educational background in accounting. Bonus points for candidates that have accounts payable or receivable experience within the automotive industry. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and grow in our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Full cycle processing of accounts payable and receivable duties
• Balance, post, and reconcile vehicle deals
• Maintain and reconcile schedules on a regular basis
• Printer dealer trade cheques
• Assist with year-end procedures and any audits
• Full cycle processing of accounts payable and receivable duties
• Act as backup for bank deposits and other duties
• Order and maintain all office supplies
• All other duties as required, assigned by the accounting supervisor

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education – Accounting Diploma is preferred
• Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds is considered an asset
• Previous accounting experience in an automotive dealership preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel
• Strong computer and communication skills with attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
